Who We Are

Idemitsu Americas Holdings Corporation (IAH) in San Jose, California, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Idemitsu Kosan Co., Ltd., headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.

IAH was established in 2020 to serve as a venture arm of Idemitsu as well as a holding company for Idemitsu Kosan’s subsidiaries in the United States, Mexico, and Brazil. We strive to broaden the group’s global reach, and to develop new businesses, creating value by identifying collaborative opportunities with entrepreneurial innovators.

Focus Areas

IAH aims to contribute to Idemitsu Kosan’s goal of transitioning to a carbon-neutral society by identifying collaboration opportunities in various fields, including areas such as energy transition, circular economy, carbon utilization and removal, and next-generation mobility and communities.
